270 professors, nurses, students, doctors and others signed a letter directed towards the audio streaming giant Spotify in an attempt to have the company address alleged “misinformation” being spread by the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

The popular Twitter page “Occupy Democrats” flat out called for Spotify to “remove Joe Rogan” from its platform.

As the number one podcast on the planet, Rogan has made headlines in recent weeks for bombshell interviews with experts Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Robert Malone.

Rolling Stone writes, “The episode featuring Malone went viral, and was shared widely in right-wing media circles as well as on Facebook, where the link on Spotify has been shared nearly 25,000 times, according to CrowdTangle data.”

The letter to Spotify claims the Rogan podcast pushes “baseless conspiracy theories” and “has a concerning history of broadcasting misinformation, particularly regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Those who signed the letter went on to say Spotify “has a responsibility to mitigate the spread of misinformation on its platform, though the company presently has no misinformation policy.”

The streaming platform reportedly signed a $100 million deal with Rogan back in August.

Now, Spotify is being accused of “enabling its hosted media to damage public trust in scientific research and sow doubt in the credibility of data-driven guidance offered by medical professionals.”

The group behind the letter attempted “debunking” some of the content from Dr. Malone’s Rogan appearance, such as “mass formation psychosis” and the Biden administration suppressing evidence showing ivermectin is an effective Covid-19 treatment.

Meanwhile, leaked military documents obtained by Project Veritas show the federal government has been fully aware that “Ivermectin (identified as curative in April 2020) works throughout all phases of illness because it both inhibits viral replication and modulates the immune response.”

One of the professors who signed the letter told Rolling Stone, Rogan is “a menace to public health.”

Katrine Wallace, PhD, an epidemiologist at University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health, says, “Having things like this on the Joe Rogan podcast gives a platform to these people and makes it a false balance. This is what really bothers me. These are fringe ideas not backed in science, and having it on a huge platform makes it seem there are two sides to this issue. And there are really not. The overwhelming evidence is the vaccine works, and it is safe.”

“These actions are not only objectionable and offensive, but also medically and culturally dangerous,” the triggered group behind the plea stated.

While the people behind the complaint aren’t asking Spotify to ban the Rogan podcast, they are requesting the company implement a “misinformation” policy.

“We’re not focused on something as small as just one episode or Rogan,” they explain. “They [Spotify] need to implement a policy and carry it out.”

Another person who signed the paper, an infectious disease epidemiologist and research fellow at Boston’s Children’s Hospital named Jessica Malaty Rivera, said Spotify’s role in society makes the company responsible for “not exacerbating the problem” of anti-vaccine sentiment.

“We have an infodemic going on that is prolonging the pandemic and it is causing people to make bad choices and actually die,” she said. “These are preventable illnesses that folks like Joe Rogan and Dr. Robert Malone are directly responsible for.”

The letter to Spotify claims Rogan and his guests are engaging in “predatory medical misinformation,” which is ironic considering the predatory behavior of the vaccine-mandating left.

Meanwhile, as the mainstream media pushes this letter sent out by a small group of liberals, they hide and “debunk” a declaration signed by tens of thousands of professionals and citizens.

The Great Barrington Declaration, an opposition to current global Covid policies authored by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Sunetra Gupta and Dr. Martin Kulldorff, has been signed by nearly a million people overall, including over 60,000 medical, public health scientists and medical practitioners.

Dr. Jordan Peterson pointed out on Twitter that the “King of Misinformation” Joe Rogan is more popular than CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and other legacy media outlets.

According to data released calculating the total amount of viewers per show in the third quarter of 2021, Joe Rogan’s podcast completely dominated every single cable news show airing in America.

Donald Trump Jr. suggested Rogan is more trustworthy than MSM, writing, “Strange that they want to censor Joe Rogan but not the main stream media who have been demonstrably wrong about almost everything spreading disinformation propaganda for 5 years. Issue for issue I’d wager Joe was far more accurate then MSM, yet they want to shut him down.”
