The people who are requiring others to wear masks have clearly NOT read the extensive research showing that masks do NOT work and do cause harm. I recommend that you ask questions and demand answers.
Here are 20 questions for you to ask your health care provider:
20 Questions About Your Policy Regarding Masks:
- Please provide me with a written statement of your official mask policy.
- Will you be providing safe, non-toxic, contaminant-free, disposable masks for patients and visitors to wear?
- Will patients be forced to wear masks? If they refuse to wear masks, will they be refused care?
- What type of masks will be required? Cloth? Surgical? N95 with an exhaust vent? N95 without an exhaust vent?
- Is the wearing of masks intended to protect the wearer (respiratory protection – Personal Protective Equipment – PPE)?
- Is the wearing of masks intended to protect people other than the wearer (source control)?
- What type of masks will your employees be required to wear?
- To what age groups does your mask policy apply?
- Is this policy based on the principles of evidence based medicine?
- What evidence was used to determine that masks are beneficial and not harmful? Please provide the randomized controlled trials that give evidence to support this policy.
- Who is the man, woman or members of a committee that are responsible for this policy?
- Who is the man or woman that accepts full liability for any harm caused by your mask policy?
- Please provide, in detail, the list of health conditions that you view to be acceptable medical exemptions.
- Please provide a clear statement of your policy in regards to the accommodations to be made for employees, patients and visitors under The Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Do you intend to provide exemptions for those employees, patients and visitors who object to the wearing of masks based upon their firmly held religious beliefs?
- Under what law, regulation or executive order have you been given the authority to require your employees, patients and visitors to wear masks?
- How much federal funding are you receiving that is tied to the implementation of a mask mandate?
- How much federal funding have you received that was tied to earlier compliance with public health mandates regarding COVID-19?
- In compliance with the practice of informed consent, please provide a copy of the printed information that you will be providing to employees, patients and visitors to fully inform them of the potential benefits and the potential risks associated with the wearing of a mask, including the risks associated with low blood oxygen levels.
- Will you offer regular (free) monitoring of the blood oxygen levels of people wearing masks and free oxygen for those whose blood oxygen levels fall below normal levels?
