President Joe Biden just referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin” in front of NATO leaders Thursday.

“And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination,” said Biden during the NATO summit in DC. “Ladies and gentlemen, President PUTIN”

After drawing gasps, Biden quickly apologized and said he was “so focused on beating” Putin as the reason for his mistake.

The timing of this brutal gaffe could not be worse for the Biden camp as it occurred moments before his “Big Boy” press conference and amid calls for him to drop out of the race.
