DHS’ role in Twitter censorship before Elon Musk bought platform is exposed

We know that the FBI was heavy into moving Twitter, under the old management team, to ban and censor some users and content that did not parrot the deep state’s narratives on a range of issues from vote fraud in 2020, government-sponsored COVID-19 misinformation, the dangers of coronavirus vaccines, and, of course, the suppression of incriminating evidence and information on Hunter Biden’s damning laptop.

We also know that the Department of Homeland Security was involved somewhat, but now we learn that DHS’s involvement in censoring content and getting ‘problematic’ users booted off the platform was just as extensive as the FBI’s involvement, if not more so.

According to the Substack account Kanekoa the Great, the country should be grateful to billionaire Elon Musk, the SpaceX and Tesla CEO, for buying Twitter and tasking a number of journalists with exposing the collusion between federal agencies like the FBI and the former Twitter management team.

“What’s been missing from much of this analysis is the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) role in this censorship through a consortium called the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), made up of four organizations: the Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO), the University of Washington’s Center for an Informed Public, the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab, and Graphika, a social media analytics company,” Kanekoa noted.

“The EIP published a report on its censorship of the 2020 election, The Long Fuse: Misinformation and the 2020 Election, which describes how the private-public censorship consortium was formed in the summer of 2020 to ‘monitor and correct election mis- and disinformation,’” the report noted further.

In short, it appears as though the DHS and Twitter collusion racket was hiding in plain sight.

The censorship network, Kanekoa continued, worked in tandem with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a branch of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC), and the DHS-backed Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) as the 2020 election cycle began, operating “as technocratic thought police forwarding tickets of mis- and disinformation’ to social media companies.”

In other words, the federal government’s various agencies within the DHS were telling the social media platforms what was and was not propaganda and state-sponsored election interference — when now we know that those same agencies were really just acting as ‘propaganda and misinformation’ spreaders to harm Donald Trump and help Joe Biden. Talk about your master psychological warfare operation.

Kanekoa noted further:

A report from the Foundation for Freedom Online (FFO), a non-profit founded by Mike Benz, entitled DHS Censorship Agency Had Strange First Mission: Banning Speech That Casts Doubt On ‘Red Mirage, Blue Shift’ Election Events details this government speech control machine and its ability to control the narrative during the 2020 election.

The DHS’s speech control partners singled out billions of social media posts on all the major platforms — Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google, etc. — and claimed they were “misinformation,” urging the platforms to take them down, censor them outright, or throttle them so that their reach would be dramatically limited (kind of like what  Fakebook and the rest of the social media criminals are still doing to conservative content).

The end result was that through CISA, the department outsourced censorship duties to private ‘partners’ in a way that the government could never have done legally or constitutionally.

“Formed in 2018, CISA’s stated mission was to protect America from cybersecurity threats from hostile foreign countries, but that mission was quickly and quietly corrupted when the branch of DHS designated foreign and then domestic disinformation as attacks on critical infrastructure,” Kanekoa’s report noted.

That’s significant because for years, the social media platforms argued that they were not “critical infrastructure” and thus subject to government regulation like telephone and cellphone service. Now we know that they were considered ‘critical’ for the sole purpose of politically manipulating narratives and stifling content.

Our government is completely and thoroughly corrupt, and worse, the corruption is being abetted now by private corporations for the purpose of ‘allowing’ them to remain in business.

No wonder the deep state left is so angry at Elon Musk and is now targeting him for cancellation.
