Following Tucker Carlson’s expose which has shed light on what happened on January 6, Americans are calling for action against government leaders who perpetrated lies regarding what took place.
One American who is fighting back is Attorney Joseph D. McBride. McBride is building a case against the Democrats who have spread lies about what happened at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. McBride announced in a Twitter post Friday, that he is filing a motion to stop the government from continuing to lie to the public and further harming protestors who have been arrested as a result.
“We just filed a motion in USA v RYAN TAYLOR NICHOLS to prevent the Government from advancing the false narrative that police were killed by protestors on J6,” McBride tweeted on Friday. He added, “NO MORE LIES.”
Tucker Carlson was given access to the 40,000 hours of video footage from Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy. The video footage has brought many Democrat, and Republican establishment lies to the surface. One of the biggest lies was that protesters killed police officers during the ‘riots’. Carlson revealed that AG Merrick Garland lied when he talked about police officers dying during the protest. Garland said,
“I think all Americans saw what happened on January 6, and most of us saw it as it was happening,” he added, “It was a violent attack on a fundamental tenet of American democracy.” Garland went on to claim that over 100 officers were assaulted on J6 and that five officers died. “We have charged more than 1,000 people with their crimes on that day, and more than 500 people have already been convicted. I think it’s very clear what happened on January 6.”
Carlson shared Garland’s false narrative noting that no police officers died on January 6, not one. He then called Garland out for perpetrating lies about something that could be proven, “Joe Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland is a liar. He just lied about something that is provably false. No police officers died that day on January 6. None. Not one.”
The J6 committee helped advance the lie that police officers died. Liz Cheney, former Republican Wyoming Rep, claimed Officer Sicknick “was killed defending our Capitol from the violent mob on January 6.” Sicknick actually died after suffering a stroke the day after January 6.
Biden also added to the lie claiming protestors killed police officers, “Look, how would you feel if you saw crowds storm and break down the doors of the British Parliament, kill five cops, injure 145 — or the German Bundestag, or the Italian Parliament? I think you’d wonder. Well, that’s what the rest of the world saw. It’s not who we are. And now, we’re proving, under pressure, that we are not that country. We’re united.”
Attorney McBride is doing his part to hold the government, which has spent the past three years worried about “disinformation,” accountable. It is a small step, one that is hopefully repeated by a team of lawyers until all Americans who have been unjustly prosecuted by their lying government have received equity.
