A report from the Media Research Center (MRC) has revealed that Google is manipulating search results in an attempt to suppress the Republican vote during this year’s crucial midterm elections.

The MRC is accusing Google of perpetrating a “war on democracy” over this news. They are demanding that Google “provide algorithmic transparency” to prove that they are not manipulating elections.

The MRC found that campaign websites for 10 Republicans in the 12 tightest national races according to Real Clear Politics were far lower on the Google search results pages than their opponents. Seven Republican candidate websites were blacklisted from the first page of Google search results completely.

“Google’s bias is undeniable when shown in comparison to other search engines. Bing and DuckDuckGo both show, with on exception, all 12 Democrat and Republican senate candidate’s websites within the top five organic search results,” the MRC said.

“The Media Research Center is calling upon Google to stop its war on democracy. To regain the trust of conservatives it must provide algorithmic transparency to show that liberal groups and candidates are treated the same way as conservatives,” they continued.

“MRC is also calling upon member of Congress to take action protecting American’s free speech liberties. Congress should investigate Google’s search bias and its results on the midterm elections,” the MRC added.

Google, of course, is refuting the report and denying the obvious.

“While we cannot respond to specific claims without seeing the research, there is no validity whatsoever to allegations of political bias on Google Search. As third parties have found, political ideology is not a factor in our search ranking systems. We don’t and would never manipulate search results, modify our products or enforce our policies in any way to promote or disadvantage any particular political ideology, viewpoint or candidate,” a Google spokesperson said to Fox News Digital.

Big League Politics has reported on Google executives being exposed on video admitting that they conduct politically-motivated censorship to manipulate election results:

A Google engineer admits that the tech monopoly is favoring Democrats and seeking to harm President Donald Trump’s electoral prospects in a new sting video released by Project Veritas on Monday.

Ritesh Lakhar, a Technical Program Manager for the California search engine company, admits that Google is seeking to “play God” by controlling the free flow of political information through its platforms.

He openly admits that Google is clamping down on conservative content that is amenable to the electoral prospects of Donald Trump, while seeking to promote Joe Biden. It’s no mere coincidence that the first search results for ‘Donald Trump’ come back with negative results, according to Lakhar…

“If Trump says something… Misinformation, you’re going to delete that because it’s illegal under whatever pretext. And if a Democratic leader says that, then you’re gonna leave it like that.”

“I disagree with the corporations playing God and taking away freedom of speech on both sides, basically.”

Lakhar goes on to speak of his moral reservations to engaging in Google’s job outsourcing programs, sending American jobs to China.

“I can’t keep doing this. Go and teach Chinese people how to do American jobs and come back and get survived on the way. Morally and ethically I disagree… I feel suffocated at Google.”

Tech companies such as Twitter, Google and Facebook have implemented a level of political censorship never before seen in the history of the United States in the runup to the 2020 presidential election. It’s time for a regulatory standard that treats these monopolies as utilities, and ensures access to the digital public square for all.

Google needs to be put out of commission for its crimes against humanity, whether by antitrust or other means.
