After being caught following the jury bus, Judge Schroeder bans all MSNBC employees from the Wisconsin courthouse where the Kyle Rittenhouse trial is taking place.

“I have instructed no one from MSNBC news will be permitted into this building for the duration of this trail,” said Judge Schroeder Thursday morning. “This is a very serious matter and I don’t know what the ultimate truth of it is but absolutely it would go without much thinking that someone who is following a jury bus… That is a very – an extremely serious matter and will be referred to the proper authorities for further action.”

According to local authorities, the suspect was trying to photograph jurors.

Judge Schroeder added that the reporter taken into custody was James J. Morrison who claimed to be working for Irene Byon, a producer for NBC in New York.

According to reports, a LinkedIn account belonging to Irene Byon of NBC News has been deleted.

Byon has also reportedly terminated her Twitter account.

Moreover, an NBC spokesperson has admitted that a “freelancer” was caught by police near the bus carrying the jury Wednesday night.

“Last night, a freelancer received a traffic citation,” said an NBC spokesperson. “While the traffic violation took place near the jury van, the freelancer never contacted or intended to contact the jurors during deliberations, and never photographed or intended to photograph them.”

“We regret the incident and will fully cooperate with the authorities on any investigation.”
