A federal court has ordered the Justice Department to stop extracting data from Project Veritas journalist James O’Keefe’s phone.

A district court order issued Thursday by Judge Analisa Torres ordered the DOJ to “pause its extraction and review of the contents of Petitioner O’Keefe’s phones.”

O’Keefe sent image of court order via text to Alex Jones in order to get word out.

The court order also required the DOJ to issue a response to O’Keefe’s motion for an appointment of a “special master” by next Tuesday.

The directives come as the Project Veritas founder’s home was raided Saturday morning as part of a federal investigation into President Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley’s missing diary.

The raid on O’Keefe’s home happened just one day after the FBI and the Southern District of New York searched the homes of several Project Veritas reporters over Biden’s “stolen” diary.

Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity Monday, O’Keefe described the DOJ’s persecution of his journalism organization as a major blow to press freedoms in America.

“This is an attack on the First Amendment by the Department of Justice,” O’Keefe said. “I’m calling upon all journalists to take a stand against this. A source comes to us with information, I didn’t even decide to publish it. If they can do this to me, if they can do it to this journalist and raid my home and take my reporter notes, they’ll do it to any journalist. This is about something very fundamental in this country. I don’t know which direction this country is going in. But journalists everywhere have to rise up because we broke no laws here. If they can do it to me, they’ll do it to anybody.”
