I have seen technology evolve over my lifetime. When I was younger, technology was my life. I would imagine a world full of sci-fi type innovations. As the internet rolled out I started to become more and more aware of the misuse of technology. I chose at the beginning of the internet to only use it as a tool. I chose not to get embellished into social media as it was born. I have never understood why people put so much of their personal life on social media. Today, technology is being used for so much manipulation of society and it doesn’t look like there is any slow down occurring. Take a moment to reflect on how much technology is being used for social engineering and start weening yourself from it.
