Deception is our greatest threat, and we are being deceived. Big time. We’re being sold on all this new technology and all these new features. Comfort and convenience is at the forefront of society and people are buying it. And sure, some of these things might make our lives a little easier. The comfort might feel good. Having all that convenience might free us up to do other things that we enjoy, but when you peel back the layers and see what all this stuff actually means, you start to realize it’s all connected, and where it’s headed is one of the darkest, most dystopian, terrifying things we could possibly imagine. It’s a place so dark that it makes 1984 look like a children’s book.
