A Reminder Of How Law Enforcement View The Public…

On May 30, 2020, in Minneapolis Minnesota, there was a curfew after the George Floyd incident. During the night Minneapolis cops, riding in an unmarked van, were going through the city firing rubber bullets at people that were still outside enjoying there God given right to freedom. Most people, including myself, would have taken this action as if someone was attempting a drive by shooting and their goal was to kill someone. These shots sounded similar to actual gunfire. If I had been there I would have drawn my weapon and attempted to defend my life.

That is exactly what Jaleel Stallings did when he thought that someone was trying to shoot him, as one of the rubber bullets hit him in the chest. He returned fire. (None of his rounds hit the cops.) That’s when these cops jumped out of the van, finally identifying themselves. Stallings then dropped to the ground in a non threatening position. But since this “low life”, in the eyes of the officers, had defended himself they had to “teach him a lessen”. Officer Justin Stetson punched Jaleel multiple times and kicked him in the head and face.  You can hear Officer Justin Stetson from his bodycam, say to Stallings “you fucking piece of shit”!

Jaleel Stallings sustained several injuries including a fracture in his eye socket, and several bruises and cuts. Despite being injured, Stallings was charged with attempted murder for opening fire at the cops. He faced years behind bars till he was found innocent. Justin Stetson, a former Minneapolis cop pleaded guilty in connection with the 2020 assault of Jaleel Stallings on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. He was charged with felony third-degree assault and a gross misdemeanor. Justin Stetson admitted to having assaulted Stallings and that the “use of force” was unnecessary and unreasonable. He agreed that his actions were beyond what officers would legally do. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison prosecuted the case and addressed Jaleel’s case to be “historic” in nature. Justin Stetson would either face a maximum sentence of five years or has to remain law-abiding while being on probation for two years. It was also revealed that the felony charge will be removed if Stetson complies with the law on probation.

Let’s stop and analyze this behavior for a moment. Here are a van full of “public servants” coming up on individuals and firing at them unjustly and when one of them returns fire they go ballistic. This tells you that in their minds they are “above the individual”. They view themselves as a superior force that should be allowed to “attack” their fellow brothers and sisters. This event is no different than a third world nation having a van of “mercenaries” ride by and shoot at whomever they view as their “enemy”.

Here is the video of the “mercenaries assaulting” Jaleel Stallings. It comes from “Here’s The Deal” channel. (Parts of the officer kicking and punching the victim had to be blurred due to YouTubes crazy policies.)
