Babbitt’s mother Micki Witthoeft was arrested while peacefully protesting.

Ashli Babbitt was an air force veteran who died at the hands of a DC Capitol Police officer.

The mother of slain Jan. 6 protester Ashli Babbitt was arrested in Washington DC on the 2nd anniversary of her daughter’s murder.

Babbitt’s mother, Micki Witthoeft, was in DC Friday commemorating the death of her daughter, who died at the hands of a DC Capitol Police officer during the infamous Jan. 6 riot.

Video shows the distraught mother was arrested by Capitol Police while walking down the street in peaceful protest.

Video shows Witthoeft was marching down the street with other demonstrators when police came up to her and ordered the group to get on the sidewalk or be arrested. Police proceeded to arrest Witthoeft.

“Asked by a bystander whether she had any comment, Witthoeft said, ‘Yeah, Capitol Police suck ass!’” the Washingtonian reported Friday.
