Imagine, for a moment, that you are lost and are in need of directions. You see a police officer and ask him for directions. He gives you some directions and you just don’t quite believe that those directions are correct. So you go into a restaurant to ask the employees for directions. Next thing you know, that same cop comes in and demands to know why you are there. He tells you that he gave you the directions and you should not be there. He is angry and wants to know why you are questioning his directions.
You decide that you need to get away from this psycho cop and you proceed to leave the establishment. The cop comes after you and the next you know, you are in the ground with this cop beating you up to the extent that you end up in the hospital with multiple surgeries.
Fast forward and the city that employed the psycho cop pays the victim 10 million dollars from a lawsuit.
