Don’t Fall For This Scam…

Everyday, whether it’s government or scam artists, we are taken advantage of. There are many scam artists that prey on people using very slick tricks. I am a very observant person and I also don’t trust many people. I have come across this scam several times and have been observing the behavior of these “music panhandlers” that seem to be using a new way to try and get people to give them money.

The picture above is a person that is posing as a musician in a parking lot. He is holding what appears to be an accordion. He has a speaker setup and he has his sign asking for help. Most people will give these con-artists money because they feel sorry for them. What they fail to do is just stand there and observe the person. If they took the time to watch these people they would see that the hand gestures do not match the beat of the music. That’s because these people have a pre-recorded music track playing and they are just pretending to play the music themselves. I even saw this man take both hands off of the instrument and the music continued to play! I have seen people doing this using other musical instruments such as a violin.

These people are not musicians, they are con-artists. I am simply warning you that if you give them money, you are falling for their scam. Use your money to buy food and supplies for you and your family.
