From “Hampton Law”
Imagine you take a photo of your kid’s rash to send to the doctor…and a few hours later, police show up at your door. They’re not there because of a warrant or anyone complained. They’re there because your phone quietly reported you. Now imagine that same “snitch mode” running on every photo you take, every DM you send, every file you save—all before it’s encrypted, all without a judge ever signing off. That’s not science fiction. It’s called client-side scanning. Governments are actively pushing tech companies to turn it on, and big tech has already built most of the machinery.
