February 2. “Ground Hog Day”. The day where people dress up and pull a ground hog out of his “cage” and pretend that he tells them whether or not spring will come early or later. Really? It’s all make believe. It’s all for show. To think that this animal can predict weather is just like the belief in government. Those who believe that the government is here to help them are just as “lost” as those that actually participate and believe in “ground hog day”.
Doesn’t it also feel like every four years is just like the movie “Ground Hog Day”. It does not matter if the left is in office or the right is in office, you get the same “play” over and over. The deep state keeps winning and “We The People” keep getting the “boot of tyranny” forced on our necks.
Even though I’m not a fan of Stephen Colbert, I think this video from some years back mixes Ground Hog with politics humor.
