That the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department would hire an unstable and violent man like this as part of their police force tells you:
1.) they don’t care to do a proper background check
2.) they did a background check, saw the arrest video and don’t give a damn
3.) they care so little about their community that they’re willing to KNOWINGLY subject them to this dangerous individual
Maybe it’s a combination of all three. The bottom line is they’ll hire scum and continue to hire scum ’cause that’s what the “government” does and they will not be held accountable.
