Everything in the video below should show you how monitored our lives have become. Flock cameras, license plate reading cameras, and other information obtained without any warrants get around the Fourth Amendment. It should not matter about your opinion on drug trafficking, because all of these tactics can be used against society even if there are no drugs involved.
I was in law enforcement before Flock cameras were created, but I can tell you that we were taught to profile people with out of state tags. We were taught to run the plate and if it came back as a rental, then that was a red flag. You then look for anything to pull them over and start the drug interdiction investigation. While questioning the person, you look for pauses, inconsistencies, and nervousness. Then, you get to the “you don’t have any drugs or anything illegal in the car do you”? When they say no, then it’s “you mind if I search it?” If they say no to any searches, then we would just call for a K9 to go around the car. I can tell you that a K9 handler can make a dog false alert just by using foreign type commands.
With Flock and historical data on the route the vehicles have been, right their at the fingertips of the law enforcement they already know what to ask. Here is the number one rule: SHUT YOUR MOUTH! Do not feel obligated to speak to someone who is not there to help you, but to terrorize you.
What all law enforcement fail to realize is that the very tools that they are employing against everyone is eventually going to be used against them and their family. But, as long as they get a paycheck for utilizing power and control over peoples lives, they don’t care.
Here is Brian, from “Here’s The Deal”, breaking down an Arkansas trooper using the warrantless data information collecting against a person.
